Overview
Snowball Dividends is a free, client-side calculator. All calculations happen entirely within your web browser using JavaScript. No data you enter — investment amounts, yield rates, tax rates, or anything else — is ever transmitted to or stored on any server.
Information we do not collect
- Personal identifying information (name, email, address)
- Financial data entered into the calculator
- Cookies used for tracking or advertising
- Account information (there are no accounts)
Information that may be collected automatically
Like all websites, our hosting provider (Vercel) may collect standard server log data including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This is used solely for security and performance monitoring purposes. We do not use this data to identify individual users.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate, anonymous traffic — such as how many people visit a page and which pages are popular. It is privacy-respecting and cookie-free: it does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not collect personally identifiable information. We do not use Google Analytics or any advertising or cross-site tracking.
Third-party services
The site is hosted on Vercel. Their privacy policy applies to infrastructure-level data. We do not use any advertising networks, affiliate tracking, or social media pixels.
Children's privacy
Snowball Dividends is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
