What YSKH Will Do, Per the Filing

YSKH is a YieldMax single-name fund on SK hynix — specifically on the company's ADRs, which trade on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the ticker SKHY. SK hynix is the South Korean memory maker whose DRAM and NAND flash go into phones, servers and data centres, and whose common stock is primarily listed on the Korea Exchange. Its prospectus is dated October 8, 2026.

The stated investment objective is three words long: “to seek current income.” Not growth, not tracking SK hynix. The filing says the fund pursues that through a synthetic covered call strategy and/or a synthetic covered call spread strategy — “synthetic” being the word that matters, because it means the fund generates its exposure with options rather than by buying the shares.

So the prospectus says the quiet part plainly, and it is worth quoting rather than paraphrasing: “An investment in the Fund is not an investment in the Underlying Security. Fund shareholders will not have rights as holders of the Underlying Security and will not receive dividends or other distributions paid by the Underlying Security.” You are buying an options income stream referenced to SK hynix, not a stake in SK hynix.

On the money: management fee 0.99%, total annual operating expenses 1.01%, and the fund “intends to pay out dividends and interest income, if any, weekly” with capital gains distributed at least annually. Weekly, not monthly — which puts it with YieldMax's weekly payers rather than its monthly groups.

One thing the filing dates make clear that a registration date alone would hide: this is close. YieldMax filed the 485BPOS on October 8, the 8-A12B — the exchange listing registration — on October 9, and the 497J prospectus certification on October 13. That is the sequence a fund files on its way onto an exchange, not the sequence of an idea parked on a shelf. The 128-day median from first filing to listing is not the number to watch here.

What Nobody Can Know Yet

A registration filing is a plan, not a product. Until YSKH trades, there is no payment history, no real yield, and no evidence of how its strategy behaves in live markets — any number you hear before launch is a target or a guess. Filings also get delayed, renamed, or quietly abandoned; this page's status updates daily either way. When YSKH does launch, we chart every payment from its very first one, free.

Frequently Asked Questions

When does YSKH launch?

No date has been announced. The registration was first seen in SEC records dated Jul 14, 2026; issuers typically launch within months of filing, but filings can also stall. The status box above updates daily, and the launch tracker shows everything else on the runway.

What will YSKH pay?

Unknowable until it trades — there is no payment history and the filing promises no rate. The strategy is option-income, so distributions would depend on real option premiums once live.

Will YSKH pay me SK hynix's dividend?

No. The prospectus is explicit that an investment in the Fund is not an investment in the Underlying Security, and that shareholders will not receive dividends or other distributions paid by it. YSKH's income comes from selling options referenced to SK hynix ADRs, not from SK hynix itself — which is why its payout tracks option premium and volatility rather than the company's own dividend policy.

Educational summary only — not financial advice, and not the prospectus. This page summarizes a public SEC registration filing (as amended) in our own words; filings change, and registered funds sometimes never launch. Verify all details against the fund's official documents before making any decision. A filing is information, not a recommendation.
