What SLVI Will Do, Per the Filing
SLVI is not trading. NEOS registered it for listing with the SEC on September 30, 2026, and as of October 1 it has no price history, no ticker on any quote feed, and no page on NEOS's own website.
The filing worth knowing about is the Form 8-A12B, and it is why this page exists today rather than in three months. An 8-A12B is the exchange listing registration: a fund files it shortly before it starts trading, not when it first registers. NEOS filed one on September 30 covering "shares of beneficial interest, no par value, of: NEOS Silver High Income ETF" on the Cboe BZX Exchange, and filed a post-effective amendment to its prospectus the same day. That pairing is the final step before a listing.
Our own records put NEOS's median gap from filing to listing at 97 days across the 17 launches we have timed. That median is the wrong tool here, and it is worth saying why: it measures from the first registration, while an 8-A12B sits at the other end of the process. A fund that has registered its shares for exchange listing is usually days away. We have been caught by this before — MUY listed the day after our watcher first flagged it.
What NEOS has not said is most of it. There is no published strategy for SLVI, no expense ratio, no distribution frequency and no launch date. NEOS's existing funds — QQQI, SPYI, BTCI, IWMI, IYRI and MLPI — run options-income strategies with a tax-efficient structure, so that is the house pattern. It is not a statement about SLVI, and this page will not pretend otherwise until the prospectus says so.
Silver already has an income product, and it is worth understanding before SLVI arrives, because the two will be compared immediately and they are not the same kind of instrument. SLVO is the UBS ETRACS Silver Shares Covered Call ETN. An ETN is an exchange-traded note: it carries the issuer's credit risk and is taxed differently from a fund. SLVI, if it lists, would be an ETF.
SLVO's record is the useful part. It pays monthly, and its latest check was $1.8990, ex-dividend September 22, 2026. That sits 60% below the median of its previous eight payments — but the median reaches back to January and carries a $7.9100 check from February inside it, and the latest payment was actually up 44% on August's $1.3180, which was the smallest in the run. Both readings are true at once, which is exactly why a single yield figure on a commodity-income product tells you very little.
This reading would be wrong if the 8-A12B turns out not to mean what it usually means. A fund can register its shares for listing and then sit, and NEOS has given no date; if SLVI is still not trading in December, the 97-day median will have been the better guide and this page will say so. A scheduled listing is not a listing, which is the same caution this site applies to a scheduled ex-date.
When SLVI lists, every distribution it declares gets charted here from the first one, and its record goes next to SLVO's rather than next to a target.
What Nobody Can Know Yet
A registration filing is a plan, not a product. Until SLVI trades, there is no payment history, no real yield, and no evidence of how its strategy behaves in live markets — any number you hear before launch is a target or a guess. Filings also get delayed, renamed, or quietly abandoned; this page's status updates daily either way. When SLVI does launch, we chart every payment from its very first one, free.

Frequently Asked Questions
When does SLVI launch?
No date has been announced. The registration was first seen in SEC records dated Sep 30, 2026; issuers typically launch within months of filing, but filings can also stall. The status box above updates daily, and the launch tracker shows everything else on the runway.
What will SLVI pay?
Unknowable until it trades — there is no payment history and the filing promises no rate. The strategy is option-income, so distributions would depend on real option premiums once live.
When does SLVI start trading?
No date has been announced. NEOS registered the fund for listing on the Cboe BZX Exchange with a Form 8-A12B filed September 30, 2026, and filed a post-effective amendment to its prospectus the same day. That combination normally comes days before trading rather than months, which is why this page exists now. Our records put NEOS's median gap from first registration to listing at 97 days across 17 launches, but that median measures from the start of the process and an 8-A12B sits at the end of it. As of October 1, 2026 the fund has no price history and no page on the issuer's own site.
