- The latest check is a record low. $0.0402 for the October 29, 2026 ex-date is the smallest of all 70 distributions BABO has declared. Three of these twenty funds are at their own record low on the same date; BABO is one.
- A 47-fold weekly range: inside the weekly era alone, payments run from that $0.0402 up to $1.8876, with a median of $0.0907. The spread is not the schedule change — it is Alibaba.
- Pays: weekly since October 9, 2025, a week ahead of most of the cohort. The 14 payments before that were monthly, $0.382 to $1.919.
- Return of capital: 0.00% on the October 28, 2026 distribution, 100.00% income. A small check that the fund actually earned.
- Rate, size and fee: a 32.28% distribution rate against a 3.81% SEC yield — the highest SEC yield of these twenty — on $12.13M of net assets at a $6.47 NAV, with a 1.00% gross expense ratio.
A record-low payment and a zero return-of-capital estimate in the same week are not in tension. The fund paid out what the options earned, and in a quiet stretch for Alibaba that was not much. A fund determined to hold its payment level would have made up the difference out of capital, and the composition footnote would say so. The figures quoted in the text on this page are those the issuer published for the 29 October 2026 ex-date; the chart and the table above are drawn live from the payment record and show every distribution since, including any declared after that date.
Each point is a declared BABO distribution from September 6, 2024. The autumn 2025 step is the monthly-to-weekly change, but note that the biggest spikes to its right are weekly too: this payout line is driven by Alibaba's volatility far more than by the schedule.

"Next expected" is estimated from BABO's recent payment rhythm — the fund announces exact dates shortly before each payout, and the data feed can lag a few days. You must own shares before the ex-dividend date to receive that payout; the cash typically arrives days later. See every fund's upcoming date on the live dividend calendar.
A real total-return estimate, assuming every payout was reinvested — including what happened to the share price. Before taxes and fees. Past performance does not predict the future.
BABO's current distribution is the lowest of its 70. The temptation is to read that as deterioration, and the composition footnote argues against it: the October 28, 2026 payment is estimated 100% income and 0.00% return of capital.
The honest reading is narrower and more useful. Option premium tracks volatility, Alibaba had a quiet stretch, and the fund passed through what it collected instead of topping the check up from capital. A fund doing the opposite — holding the payment level at 90%-plus return of capital — would have looked healthier on a payout screener and been drawing down NAV to do it. The compare tool shows both lines at once.

When Is BABO's Next Ex-Dividend Date?
BABO pays weekly — declared each Wednesday, ex-dividend the Thursday — after 14 monthly payments through October 2025. The exact date of each payout is announced by the fund only shortly beforehand, so no site can promise the next date — but the live schedule box above shows the most recent ex-dividend date and the expected window for the next one, computed from BABO's actual payment rhythm. Remember: you must own shares before the ex-dividend date to receive that payout.
Seventy Distributions, Ending at the Smallest One
BABO first paid on September 6, 2024. Fourteen monthly distributions followed, $0.382 to $1.919, and since October 9, 2025 there have been 56 weekly ones. Those weekly payments span $0.0402 to $1.8876 around a median of $0.0907 — and the $0.0402 at the bottom of that range is the one just declared for October 29, 2026.
The Range Is the Underlying, Not the Schedule
On most pages in this cohort the big payments are monthly and the small ones weekly. BABO breaks that: its weekly high of $1.8876 is within a few cents of its all-time monthly high. So the 47-fold spread inside the weekly era is Alibaba's own volatility passing straight through the option book, and a reader who anchors on any single week — high or low — will misjudge the fund. The median is the more useful number, and it is $0.0907.
A Small Check, Fully Earned
The composition footnote for the latest distribution reads 0.00% return of capital and 100.00% income. BABO also carries the highest 30-day SEC yield of these twenty funds at 3.81%, against a 32.28% distribution rate. None of that makes a record-low payment pleasant to receive, but it distinguishes a fund passing through less from a fund paying out capital to disguise the same shortfall. On $12.13M of net assets and a $6.47 NAV.
