ARKY Distribution — Quick Facts
  • First check: $0.27012 per share — declared September 23, ex-dividend September 24, payable September 25, 2026. The fund's first distribution ever, about five weeks after its August 19, 2026 inception.
  • Next ex-date: October 26, 2026, and unusually this is ARK's own published date rather than our estimate — the fund page lists ex-dates scheduled through December 24. A scheduled date is not a declared amount: the October figure was still blank when this page was written.
  • Pays: monthly, per ARK's own fund page. One payment in means the rhythm is stated rather than demonstrated, and this page fills in from here.
  • The number to be careful with: ARK reports a weighted average coupon of 26.74% as of September 30, 2026. That is the coupon on the notes the fund holds, not a yield to shareholders and not a distribution rate. Its 30-day SEC yield field is blank. Anyone quoting 26.74% as ARKY's yield is quoting the portfolio, not the payout.
  • Fee: a 0.85% expense ratio, which is the whole of it — a 0.85% management fee with no 12b-1 and no acquired fund expenses, per the issuer's own fee table.

One distribution is a data point, not a yield. We do not annualize a single check, and the 26.74% weighted average coupon is the portfolio's figure rather than anything shareholders have received. What settles this fund is the next few payments: whether they arrive on the published dates, and whether the amount holds.

Every Distribution Payment, Over Time

Each point below is one real ARKY distribution, starting with its first on September 24, 2026. Monthly points accumulate slowly, so this line stays short for a while — the value is that every check is here from the beginning.

A Coupon Is Not a Yield

ARKY holds a portfolio of 50 autocallable notes, and ARK reports their weighted average coupon at 26.74%. That number describes what the notes pay the fund while their barriers hold, before fees and before anything reaches a shareholder. The coupons are contingent with memory, which means a missed coupon can be caught up later if the index recovers — and equally that a coupon can be missed at all.

The fund's single distribution so far is $0.27012, against a NAV of $20.24 on September 30, 2026 — about 1.3% for the month. Whether that repeats is the entire question, and one check cannot answer it. ARK's own 30-day SEC yield field is blank, which is the honest state for a fund this new. Our autocallable ETF census tracks the whole category as it builds a record.

When Is ARKY's Next Ex-Dividend Date?

ARKY pays monthly — ARK lists the distribution frequency as monthly and publishes its forward schedule, with ex-dates set for October 26, November 24 and December 24, 2026. The exact date of each payout is announced by the fund only shortly beforehand, so no site can promise the next date — but the live schedule box above shows the most recent ex-dividend date and the expected window for the next one, computed from ARKY's actual payment rhythm. Remember: you must own shares before the ex-dividend date to receive that payout.

Five Weeks From Launch to First Check

ARKY listed on Cboe BZX with an inception date of August 19, 2026 and declared its first distribution on September 23 — $0.27012 per share, ex-dividend September 24, payable September 25. For a fund built around monthly contingent coupons, the first payment matters less for its size than for the fact that it arrived on the schedule the issuer published.

ARK Publishes Its Dates, Which Is Rare

Most issuers on this site announce each ex-date days beforehand, which is why "when is the next ex-dividend date" is the question we are asked most. ARK lists them ahead: October 26, November 24 and December 24, 2026 were all on the fund page before any of their amounts existed. That is genuinely useful for anyone timing a purchase, with one caveat worth stating plainly: a scheduled ex-date is a calendar entry, not a promise of a payment, and the amounts beside those dates were still blank when this page was written.

Read the Coupon and the Distribution as Two Different Things

ARK reports a weighted average coupon of 26.74% across the fund's 50 autocallable positions. It is the most eye-catching number on the fund page and the easiest one to misuse. It describes the notes, not the payout: coupons are contingent on barriers holding, the 0.85% fee comes out, and the fund has distributed exactly once. The honest figure for what shareholders have received is $0.27012, and the honest answer on yield is that there is not enough record to compute one. ARK's own 30-day SEC yield field says the same thing by being blank.

What Would Change the Picture

Three things, in order. Whether the October 26 distribution lands on its published date. Whether its amount is near $0.27012 or well below it, which is where a contingent coupon shows whether its barriers are holding. And whether NAV, $20.24 on September 30, 2026, stays near its starting level while the checks arrive — because a distribution funded by NAV is a different animal from one funded by coupons, and that distinction is the whole reason this site charts payments and prices on the same page. All three land on this page as they happen, and the autocallable census puts ARKY next to every other fund in the category.
