- First check: $0.4409 per share, ex-dividend and record date September 21, 2026, payable September 25, about six weeks after the August 12, 2026 launch. NAV per share was $24.13 on September 21.
- Coupon memory: per m+, missed coupons may be paid in later periods if market conditions recover. A skipped month isn't necessarily lost, which makes a gap in this chart mean something different than a gap in most funds'.
- The notes inside: the S&P U.S. Equity Momentum 40% VT 4% Decrement Autocall Index, notes with a 5-year tenor, a 6-month non-call period, and 60% coupon and principal barriers. Swap counterparty: Morgan Stanley.
- The book on September 18: only 10 active autocallables (MPDY had 52, MPIA 60), all paying coupons, a 16.49% weighted average coupon, and a 93.30% weighted average mark-to-market. Expense ratio 0.70%.
- The trio: MPDY, MPIA and MPIM all went ex on September 21, 2026 — m+ funds' three autocallables declared their first checks on the same day, and the check sizes line up in the same order as each fund's weighted average coupon: MPIA $0.6247 (22.57%), MPIM $0.4409 (16.49%), MPDY $0.3374 (12.94%).
One check is not a yield. m+ hasn't published a distribution rate, and the first check came about six weeks after launch. The 93.30% mark-to-market on September 18 was the lowest of the three m+ funds: the notes were valued below par even while every one was paying.
Each point below is one real MPIM distribution, starting with the fund's first on September 21, 2026. Because of coupon memory, a skipped month followed by a larger check would be the design working, not a data error.

"Next expected" is estimated from MPIM's recent payment rhythm — the fund announces exact dates shortly before each payout, and the data feed can lag a few days. You must own shares before the ex-dividend date to receive that payout; the cash typically arrives days later. See every fund's upcoming date on the live dividend calendar.
A real total-return estimate, assuming every payout was reinvested — including what happened to the share price. Before taxes and fees. Past performance does not predict the future.
Two things set MPIM apart from its siblings. The first is coupon memory: if the index is below the coupon barrier on an observation date, the coupon isn't paid, but per m+ it may be paid later if conditions recover. That softens the category's usual all-or-nothing monthly coupon, at least for a dip that reverses.
The second is size. On September 18 the book held just 10 active autocallables, against 52 for MPDY and 60 for MPIA, so each note's start date carries more weight and the ladder is less diversified across entry points. Its 93.30% mark-to-market, the lowest of the three, means those notes were valued at less than par on that date. With only 10 of them, how that number moves as the ladder fills in is worth watching.

When Is MPIM's Next Ex-Dividend Date?
MPIM pays monthly, per the issuer's distribution schedule; the first distribution went ex September 21, 2026. The exact date of each payout is announced by the fund only shortly beforehand, so no site can promise the next date — but the live schedule box above shows the most recent ex-dividend date and the expected window for the next one, computed from MPIM's actual payment rhythm. Remember: you must own shares before the ex-dividend date to receive that payout.
One of Three First Checks
MPIM, MPDY and MPIA all declared their first distributions for the same September 21, 2026 ex-date. MPIM's $0.4409 landed in the middle, as its 16.49% weighted average coupon did. The three raise our autocallable census to 23 of 32 funds with real payment records.
What to Watch From Here
Whether the ladder grows beyond 10 notes, which spreads out entry points and should steady the checks. Whether the 93.30% mark-to-market recovers toward par. And, eventually, the first time coupon memory is used: a skipped month followed by a catch-up payment would show up right here. The crash simulator previews the barrier mechanics in the meantime.
